Fun fact. The top list of refund reasons for our immersive VR survivor Into The Radius has a "Sorry, I never expected your game to be so scary" point. 

To be honest, we have never been upset by this reason. We treat it as proof we did a great job creating this fantastic post-apocalyptic atmosphere. 

Sometimes you don't see something terrible in our game, but you hear it. Sound often has a more profound impact on your imagination than visuals, enabling you to fully immerse in the game's atmosphere.

We are lucky to have a solid creative team of sound specialists in-house.

Their wide range of responsibilities is truly impressive. Let's take a quick look at their weekly task recap to witness the breadth of their work firsthand.

• Sergei

Devised a concept to synchronize the rustling of the woods with the strength of the wind.

Voiced a new rifle and adjusted the volume balance for steps, clothes, backpack, and weapons during movement.

Made a new sound for anomalies (distortion), so that the location of the anomaly could be determined by the sound of the idle.

• Pavel

Switched his technical sound designer role to the Audio Cleaning Technician for a while, to clean up the project from some legacy blueprints.

• Arthur

Chewed sunflower seeds in front of the mic during the recording sessions so that explorers would be reminded some real-life experience.

• Rakip

Conducted volume level research across various projects and rebalanced the volumes accordingly. Completed the sound library for the teaser trailer.

• Ressa

Had a sync call to discuss radio features. We might add it for the sake of the atmosphere, now estimating the tasks.

Gave some feedback on the test location with dynamic sound changes based on different environments (forest, building, hangar, field, etc.).
